Dear Mr. Gent,
The Factories Bill was introduced into the
House of Commons on Friday last and will be issued to-morrow,
so that at long last I am able to reply to your letter
(53772/36) of 27th October, 1936, and to forward copies of
the Clause in the Bill dealing with the precautions in regard
to water-sealed gasholders. I have recently had a personal
letter from Mr. Charlton, and am also forwarding a copy of
the Clause to him direct.
Yours sincerely,
4. Stevenson Layer
